History

In 2001, IO Integration was formed in San Francisco by former Xinet, Dalim, and Apple executives to fulfill the need for an unbiased, independent, and smart systems integration company focused on technologies that build workflow efficiencies for pre-press providers, advertising agencies, commercial printers, and retail publishers.

All of the IOI Team members bring years of relevant industry experience, many working in print production long before computers made their appearance in our industry. By embracing the integration of computer technology in its earliest and most painful days, and working with the software and hardware companies that drove the automation revolution, IOI brings proven models for technology-driven production.

Our success and relevance in this industry have always been tied to building lasting relationships with our clients. These relationships begin with our desire to provide comprehensive information so our customers can make an informed buying decision. We follow that with professional installation and training, and continue with best-of-class support and professional services.

Through client referrals resulting from our successful installs, IOI quickly grew into providing integration services across a broader geographic landscape.

In 2002, we opened our Los Angeles division.

In 2004, IOI merged with Media Automation Specialists (MAS), which was comprised of former Vertis executives, and afforded IOI a presence in Dallas.

In 2005, IOI acquired the integration arm of New Jersey-based Cadapult Graphic Systems, allowing IOI to strengthen service and support to our New York and East Coast customer base.

Also in 2005, IOI established a Chicago division to service and support our expanding customer base in the Central region.

In 2008, IOI acquired Cohesion, a premier Boston based provider of computer technology and services to the graphic arts marketplace, allowing IOI to provide an increased level of service and support to our growing Northeast base of customers. Also in 2008, IOI was proud to become the exclusive North american reseller for iBrams Integrated Brand Mangement Solution.

In 2009 IOI continued to grow as an organization by adding sevral new employees across the organization. With the addition of team members in our support, development and sales departments, as well as the creation of a deployment division, IOI is an ever evolving organization constantly making the appropriate adjustments to meet the unique requirements of our customers.

Today, with a staff of 30 professionals, and offices in Cupertino, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York City, Boston and Chicago, IOI is well positioned to handle the technology needs of our valued customers.
